For too long, we have tolerated the desecration of the image and spirit of one of the greatest leaders of the world and the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.Atatürk is the George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln of the modern Turkish Republic.On March 4, 2015, US agents of the ultranationalist Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), in coordination with the ethnic Armenian Mayors of Glendale and Montebello, lobbied and bullied the Mayor and City Council of Carson, California, into censoring the statue of Ataturk from the City Garden of Peace.
Please take a minute from your day to stand up for truth, justice and peace by sending an e-mail to the City of Carson Mayor’s Office and Council Members to express your concern and initiate further action to include a statue of Atatürk in the Garden of Peace.
