Director Wanees Zarour takes UChicago’s own 40-piece Middle East Music Ensemble on a tour of Istanbul and Turkey. Come listen to classics and hits of Turkish music (a mix of “Turk Sanat Muzigi” and “Turk Halk Muzigi”). Guest vocalists and instrumentalists enhance the verve of this standing-room-only event (Aysenur Kolivar will be with us for a great demonstration of authentic Blacksea voice). Come early, our last two concerts have been entirely filled!

Admission is free. Suggested donations are $10 per audience member / $5 for students.
