TACA Women’s Group’s Mission:

Improve the interaction among women at Turkish American Cultural Alliance.
Make friends and create a support system
Support common projects in the organization
Help preserve and represent our heritage by actively involving our kids and youth in celebrating important days and festivals.
Reminisce sounds, tastes and memories from Turkey while enjoying our friendship.

Our groups is getting bigger and stronger by the day. Our doors are always open to every women who enjoy friendship and would like to get involved and become active. We will be more than glad to see you with us. United we stand, united we are stronger.

TACA Kadınlar Grubunun Amacı:

Şikago Turk Amerikan Kültür Derneği icindeki kadınların iletişimini kuvvetlendirmek,
Dostlukları ve dayanışmayı artırmak,
Ortak projelerin oluşumuna destek vermek,
Özel gun ve bayramların önem, değer ve heyecanını özellikle çocuklarımız ve gençlerimizle paylaşarak külturümüzün devamlılığını sağlamak ve kültürümüzü tanıtmak ,
Birlikte eğlenirken yurdumuzdan esintiler yaşatmaktır.
Şikago’daki Turk toplumunun değerli gücü kadınlarımız ile bir araya gelerek geçen yıldan bu zamana kadar organize edilen etkinlikler şunlardır:

TSM Konserinde yiyecek içecek sunumu
Ramazan ve Kurban Bayramları namazı sonrası bayramlaşma ve kahvaltı organizasyonu

TACA’da Aşure Günü Etkinliği
Kadınlar Günü Eğlencesi’nin hazırlanmasi ve Kermes
Grubumuz her gün biraz daha büyümekte ve güçlenmekte olup, kapımız aramıza katılmak isteyen tüm kadınlara her zaman açıktır. Sizleri de aramızda görmekten mutlu oluruz. Birlikten kuvvet doğar!

A memorable Ladies Night and Dinner by TACA Women’s Group

TACA Women’s Group organized a “TACA Ladies Night and Dinner” at TACA Turkish Center on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Nesrin Yildiz, the wife of our Consul General of Turkey in Chicago, along with more than 150 women from the community had a memorable night. After feasting on delicious Turkish Cuisine, everyone enjoyed live music by Yağmur. Many attendees also won gifts at the raffle.

TACA Board would like to thank:

The TACA Women’s Group members and Pervin Öztekin for putting all their time and energy into organizing this event. It really helped bring our community together in a wonderful way.

Kaya Armagan, for his help in the audio setup,
Erhan Duman for his excellent selection of Turkish Music, and for DJing for the night,
Engin Cardak, the owner of the Turkish Cuisine Restaurant, for catering the delicious Turkish food.
Entertainer “Piyanist Şantör” Yağmur for the live music that got everyone to getup and dance.

2011 TACA Kadınlar Eğlencesi ve Akşam Yemeği

TACA Türk Evinde verilecek olan akşam yemeği ve eğlencesine davetlisiniz. Piyanist Şantor Yağmur’un sunduğu müzik eşliğinde, sürpriz çekiliş ve hediyelerle, ve leziz yemeklerle sizlere dolu dolu bir eğlence programı hazırladık. Hep beraber, dostlarımızla sohbet ederek, güzel bir cumartesi akşamı geçirmek üzere sizleri bekliyoruz.
